Great-grandfather Paul began producing his own Champagne in 1920. Carved into the rock at the end of the 19th century, the cellar was originally used by schoolchildren as a shelter from the bombings of the 1st World War, which targeted the nearby Reims Cathedral . Adrien took over the company reins in 2012: he manages this small Domaine located in the Grand Cru of Verzenay , near the Montagne de Reims . The village of Verzenay, a winemaking reality bordered by a lighthouse on one side and a mill on the other, is well known for the quality of its Pinot Noir, among the finest and most sought after in the Champagne region.
