The Cuvée Royale Réserve pays tribute to the Philipponnat family's ancestors: vineyard owners, winemakers, suppliers to Louis XIV, magistrates and royal mayors in Ay.

This cuvée offers a beautiful balance between structure, length and vinosity on the palate.

The Cuvée Royale Réserve Rosé by Maison Philipponnat is made from Pinot Noir (75%), Chardonnay (20%) and Pinot Meunier (5%). The first press is composed predominantly of Grands and Premiers Crus. 25 to 30% of reserve wines vinified using the Solera method and aged in oak complete the blend.

The nose opens with fruity fragrances (red fruits, cherries, wild strawberries). When aerated, notes of citrus and grapefruit peel emerge.

An elegant and pure attack precedes a full mouth, whose beautiful acidity blends harmoniously with a subtle acidity that highlights the fruit.
