Very bright and clear ruby with medium minus optical density and very high, fine, specular reflectivity. The nose shows good intensity, with a light quality. Shows bright cherry, tart apple, and a light bit of clean gravel and even less spice. Definitely a fruit-forward nose. On the palate, light body with bracing acidity and very light tannins. Watery texture with a juicy nature. Flavours of bright red fruits (cherry and pomegranate dominate) on the attack with nice intensity, but very simple here, not much complexity. The midpalate stays fruit-forward, and adds in just a touch of clean tobacco and gravel. Toward the final transition, there is a tart bright red apple flavour that comes on. The finish is clean and juicy, with sour cherry and some zesty electric but clean tobacco smoke laced bright red fruits. Medium minus length. Overall, shows decent intensity, but is not dense or concentrated, and is not complex.
